Comments and Notes:
2008-08-08 Anyone who likes Opie & Anthony wouldn't understand talk radio.
Just a note to the less than bright person who likes Opie & Anthony! Talk about a disgusting talk show! Those two haven't got a brain cell between them and I don't care how good the music is they play. Still with the talk format! Just get rid of that idiot Neal Bortz! He should hang with Opie & Anthony on that "Rock" more like "Crock" Station. Out!" --guest
2008-08-08 Don't like Hate Radio? Tell sponsors. http://www.derechoshumanosaz.net/images/pdfs/104.1%20fm%20sponsors.pdf
Don't like 104.1? Tell their sponsors.
One would think a controversial radio station would defend the right to free speech. Instead, 104.1's vicious attacks against public defender and activist Isabel Garcia make it clear that they only believe in free speech for their own side. I have met Isabel and believe she is a person of highest integrity, someone who has dedicated her life to defense of human rights and dignity.
Arapio on the other hand denigrates human dignity in so many ways. I can still remember a TV show years ago showing a (white) prisoner in restraints who was killed by abusive guards in his prison, and his cavalier response. Tent cities in Phoenix summer heat, racial profiling, testimony of abused victims - yet, Isabel should be fired because she used a pinata to make a statement?
Please consider sending an email or making a phone call to 104.1's sponsors and encouraging them to choose another station to sponsor for reaching Tucson listeners.
In light of 104.1 talk radio's vicious attacks against public defender and activist Isabel Garcia, and their history of hateful speech, " --guest
2007-08-28 How refreshing!!
It is good to hear a clear FM radio station that has a conservative voice to combat the negative liberals. Sharing ideas and intelligent conversations are always welcomed on my radio. Thank You." --guest
2007-08-13 I like it
I like it that "talk radio" has arrived with the benefits of frequency modulation! Now the only thing you could add would be streaming so that I can have it in the workplace where there are no radios." --guest
2007-07-18 finally decent talk radio
It's about time Tucson had a talk station on the FM dial. I know that most of the posts out there are against the change, but Tucson has lots of alternatives for music. If you don't like it, go buy some cd's or get XM or Sirius.
Frankly, I'm happy to be able to listen to a talk station that I can listen to without it fading out after 6 pm when they change the signal direction. I applaud the station for taking the bold move to talk. 1330 used to be the only decent talk station out there but kept changing personalities and time slots so much that you couldn't figure out who was ever on the air. Good luck, I'm a new listener! " --guest

Why did you choose to broadcast more conservative liars and war whores?

2007-05-31 Disappointed
I am very disappointed that the station has changed. It seems like most who have posted here are as well. I hope you won't ignore your past listeners. Please bring back the music. -Kirsten" --guest
2007-05-27 Talk shows for AM
There are already more than enough talk show stations in Tucson. If you wanted to listen to politics or any of that stuff, you'd cycle through AM, because that's where talk shows always are, and possibly oldies stations. Why take away a perfectly good radio station just to put in a talk show? Why not buy out a different frequency, or go to where people will actually like it, like AM?" --guest
2007-05-26 At last some informative radio
I am so grateful for your show. Thank for bringing some real news to Tucson. By far we need it. I am embarrassed by our morning shows and the topics they discuss.
I finally got more than just the basics on immigration policies in our country, backed by statistics and a wonderful guest speaker from D.C. Show was on May 26 07 at 11:30AM.
Who was the guest speaker? Jamie Dupree? Is that correct?
Thank you, thank you, and thank you.

2007-05-22 FINALLY!!
How elated I was to turn to the radio station formerly known as 104.1 "the point" and hear someone FINALLY telling the truth. I am so sick of getting liberal propaganda shoved down my throat from just about every media organization out there. Its about time that intelligence and common sense rule instead of overpaid and lazy democrats whose real goal is to keep americans stupid and uneducated about the real facts.
Wake up! There's more than one point of view and finally we get to hear it! " --guest
2007-05-17 Huh?
Just got back from vacation and I thought that my radio had been highjacked. Some guy was blithering on about hispanics and how they have cornered the market on conversion vans. Then he took a caller and they talked for a minute of two about how fat Al Gore is. This isn't even news...it sounded more like a couple of ignorant, mean middle school kids talking just to hear themselves talk. Not sure what the station management was thinking when it changed formats. I hate to think that this kind of junk is profitable in any way. Lisa" --guest
2007-05-15
There are sure a lot of whiners who won't sign their names to their comments. I liked the music too and do listen in, occasionally, to the talk. But it is tiring. I just wonder what will ever be done to fix anything. Both sides talk a lot and do little. Note that I am signing my name. Todd Clodfelter" --guest
2007-05-13 Lost a Listener
I can't believe that after just over a year of listening to the "New" 104.1 telling us that they are taking our suggestions to heart so they can give us the perfect radio station, and doing a pretty good job at it, someone decided to change the formant to LAME talk radio overnight! What the heck??? If I wanted to listen to talk radio instead of good music I'd go to my AM stations. I no longer tune it to this station. If they gained more listeners than they lost I would be very surprised." --guest
2007-05-11 THINK RADIO
A lot of people call it talk radio but I disagree it should be called Think Radio it makes you think well maybe not for all the people. But you should try it sometime, thinking that is." --guest
2007-05-06 [Very upset customer]
Was upset to come back from a week in NJ to find my favorite station a talk radio. Get it right guys your gonna loose buisness nobody wants to here the talk crap! Put our music back on" --guest
2007-05-04 Very Disappointed Listener
One of Tucson's best music stations is turned into a talk radio haven for right-wing ideologues. What are these guys smoking? " --guest
2007-05-03 Bad choice
There WERE a few good choices to music in Tucson. What is the thought process of your producers??? Lets take a channel that many many people listen to and go unheard of talk shows. AM stations have that market. Resreach your demographics. Bring back the music that helps people get on with their day, PLEASE!" --guest
2007-05-01 Listening in Sierra Vista
Love the new format! I work on Ft. Huachuca and we can hear 104.1 very well. The signel is degraded in Sierra Vista, but still usable. Thanks for the change." --guest
2007-04-24 truth and the consequence
How disappointing to come back to what was once a decent radio station with an excellent morning show, only to have it turned to talk radio...as if there's not enough bad news in the world. In true fashion, the first morning I heard "the truth" it was a day late and dollar short, talking about Imus 2 weeks later. On the brightside, my CD collection and MP3 player thanks you, they needed the exercise :D" --guest
2007-04-23 Ignorant
I understand that it must be disappointing to find that your favorite music station is gone, but don't call The Truth political bullshit. And it is also not biased. If you can't step out of your ignorant world and think about the topics that change and influence your world, then you are not doing your part as a citizen, as well as a human being." --guest
2007-04-23 what the fuck
what happened to the good music. all i hear now is some jackass talking all the time, bring back the music you used to play!" --guest
2007-04-23 Where's the Music!
I do not understand how you can change formats from a "FM radio station to "talk radio" C'mon give us the music we used to enjoy and get this talk crap back on AM radio. For once I thought Tucson was getting it right by having a solid radio station playing good music and not alot of commericals and phony talk. What a crappy move." --guest
2007-04-21 Hate my commute now
From what I can tell, Z104.1 is now gone completely and there's a news station instead??? I can find NO other station to replace it and instead now i sit in silence in my car. Depressing." --guest
2007-04-19 Brian
Your change makes me sad :( i want music not biased political bull$h1t. Its not even an intelligent political discussion." --guest
2007-04-16 Change of Heart
I am no longer going to frequent your station on the radio. You have inspired me to get an XM satellite radio and tune in the Opie & Anthony and Ron & Fez. What a poor decision on your part to switch formats from something people liked." --guest
2007-04-13 disappointed!
I used to be a listener of your station, but with your change to the format, I am no longer. I'm not sure who pushed for this change, but it is disappointing to say the least. From the small amount I heard, it was insulting and obnoxious. I can't believe this will be supported in Tucson. We needed the format as it was. I know you have lost a lot of listeners, but obviously pleasing them was no priority to you. Too bad" --guest
2007-04-13 What Happened to my radio station!
I used to love 104.1. But now I hate it!!!!! I was on my way to work the other day and turned on what I thought was my favorite radio station only to find a bunch of political bullshXt and no lively fun music and personalites. I will never tune in again unless you go back!" --guest
