Comments and Notes:
2008-09-17 Great Program.
I was in this program as a teenager, and it had a great impact on my life. I am still sober today, over ten years later. I have a great relationship with my family. As to the negative comments below, I never heard or saw anything similar to what is being said. As with all things, I am sure you will find some people who love it and some people who don't. Go see for yourself and trust yourself. Don't form your opinions on anything based on internet chat(this one also) or biased websites. Trust yourself and everything will work out." --guest
2008-09-01 Seaparate children from their families? http://www.ezinearticles.com/?Drug-Addiction-Can-Be-Treated&id=1362105
Why would they want to separate children from their families, what benefits can they have in that? Drug abuse programs are meant to help people fight their addiction and this is a tough fight, nobody denies it but that doesn't allow us to jump to wrong conclusions..." --guest
2008-08-05 Please consider alternatives, and check all aspects of any group you place your trust in! http://www.ontheemmis.com
I am a former member of this group. I see that there are accusations of slander in one comment, insults to intelligence in another. I find that distressing. These groups can be very harmful, and they do indeed separate children from families. That is only the tip of the iceberg (or icecap, if you will).
Please see the following websites before considering putting your child in the hands of these people. It is not a good idea, and there is evidence of that fact (i.e. there is no slander here, and no libel either, because what is being said is true.
In case my URLs don't post, I'd like to add that if you Google the name "Bob Meehan" and/or "Clint Stonebraker" you will find a large amount of additional information.
You can also search YouTube on "Bob Meehan" and you will see videos named in the vein of "Bob Meehan Exposed", "Bob Meehan: His Views on ..."

2007-07-22 Great Program
This program is a great one. I used to work for it for a couple years. I no longer work there do to change in careers, but I need to comment that it is very effective among teenagers and young adults. With anything that works well, it can be slandered by those who failed. Thus you see a couple posts with slander. I can tell you it saved my skin when I was a teenager. Thanks. -Pat H." --guest
2007-07-18 no thanks to pathway-phoenix
this place is a joke. i was in pathway for a period of time and i was one of the smart "addicts" to leave. they drill these insane ideas into your head that you can't survive without the group. i had 3 counselors in pathway relapse before i did. i relapsed while in pathway and guess where i got the dope. at a "function". they told my parents to buy me cartons of cigarettes, withdraw me from school because of the "pressure" it was going to have on me, and the best one yet, they told my parents not to give me a curfview. that's right, give a bunch of drug abusing teenagers all the freedom they want!!! that's insane. i left that group and moved on with my life. i did drugs when i was young and i moved on with it. drugs aren't a part of my life any more and i would just like to say that pathway had nothing to do with it. just move on and leave it in the past. why re-hash it everyday for the rest of your life. you wonder why they relapse and suffer from cravings everyday; it's because they won't move on with their lives. Do you have any idea what drug abuse and addiction is? Obviously you don't. Some people need this kind of help or they will continue on and progressively get worst. Weed is the hardest drug to kick because there are so many people (like yourself) that see it only as weed. But what happens to your friend when he is sitting there getting high and somebody offers him heroin? And he will do it because his friends tell him its okay. Grow up and understand the addiction before you comment on any drug subject. --RNSKLS
