I stand by my initial comments concerning Silver Home Rentals. I tried to keep it on point, only the facts, but Margaret Polley wishes to make it personal by naming me in her posting. Allow me to apologize for insinuating that she intentionally let my water run, costing me additional money. I absolutely refuse to believe she would let my water run continuously. It was her incompetence that let my water run, costing me additional money. If you were the last one in the house (and I can’t imagine anyone else in my property when it’s vacant), then you have a duty to ensure that my utilities were not being unreasonably wasted. When I arrived at the property, the toilet was running, and Margaret knows that this is why I had an 87,000 gallon water bill. I’m not an angry man, just angry with her and her handling of my property, and myself for not firing them sooner (go ahead and claim you fired us first Margaret, but we sent you a termination letter giving you 30 days per the agreement, and you responded with a letter saying the termination was effective immediately). Go ahead and say what you want about me, but you are incompetent, and a  liar, and that’s my opinion. You can trot out as many “guest” comments you want, but anyone can see the same person is writing the posts, as they have the same babbling rant. At the end of the day, my experience with SHR and Margaret Polley was bad enough for me to recommend avoiding them at all costs. If you have a different opinion, you are well within your right to say so. As long as I am allowed, I will express my opinion in as many posts, forums and blogs as I can. If you are seeking the services of a property management company, there are many to choose from, and if you choose Silver Home Rentals, or any company that employs Margaret Polley, do so at your own risk. --dcclark4

I must response to Mr. Clarks accusations listed on this website - it is quite unfair that someone can post lies and get away with it!  Why would someone allow a property management to manage their home for 10 years and collect those rents send them to the owner and the owners cashes them if they were so unhappy. Regular inspections are performed on a home with the owner and without.  It is up to the owner to perform the repairs.  In this particular the owner knew about everything that needed to be done on their but only did the what was necessary, we have the letters from her proving so and declining repairs. The irrigation system was 25 years or more and she was informed that there wer eproblmes but did not want to repair it.  There was a hidden water leak which was not noticed (I can not figure out why someone would think anyone would intentionally let water run)while the home was vacant.  Now my job is not to sit at a vacant home everyday while vacant unless there a showings an check of the house is performed from time to time. It is the responsibility of the owner's to take care of the house.  I only experience problems like this with owners who have no money.  They seem to blame others because they do not want to be responsible." --guest

Please post this - this man Dale Calrk is an angry man -we have proof you should never bad mouth someone because you did not get your way!  SHR was willing to go to court to prove it but his wife declined who actually owns the house! I am reading a complaints about Silver home Rentals, LLC. I am kind of amazed to read it - I know for a fact that these company does regualr inspections and with owners.  I myself have in Real Estate 35 years No one can know how difficult this particular job can be - trying to please an owner, an owner refusing to do repairs because they have no money but always blaming the middle man especially when no money is coming into them because the property does not sell or rent. What a shame that people must blame someone else for their problems.  Always thinking the other person does things intentionally never thinking that they can be human and maybe make a mistake.  No one in life is perfect!  I hope that you put this on the website for others to read.  This company has managed my properties for 15 years and I have never had a problem.  I have referred numerous and I mean numerous investors and owners etc to them. And to this day have received nothing but praises and thanks.  I came across this website an starting reading.  Maybe the person complaining has a problem because companies that were bad really think about it in this world would not exist!!" --guest

2007-07-02 Avoid Silver Home Rentals
I wouldn’t recommend this company to manage my property. They bring in the rent checks, but that’s it, they didn’t “manage” the property. Their website says they perform “regular inspections” to avoid costly repairs, but I never received any inspection reports. Because of this company, most of my landscaping has been destroyed. Make sure you have someone with you when dealing with them so there is no dispute as to what was said and agreed to. Their agent claimed to have letters written by my wife, yet my wife has never written them letters. They allowed my water to run causing a water bill that reached 87,000 gallons of water, and now are threatening to take me to court because I refuse to pay the bill. Be aggressive with them when it comes to your property. In an attempt to resolve a problem I had with his agent, I left a message for the owner to call me yet he never did, he had the agent call me and she wouldn’t let me talk to him. Also, my wife was the one who hired the company, and I wasn’t on the original management agreement. They dealt with me for most of the issues, but when there were disputes, the agent refused to talk to me about it, claiming I wasn’t on the management agreement. Silver Home Rentals should be avoided at all costs. --dcclark4
