DV8 Nightclub is always under attack by it's competitors. The truth of the matter is that ladies and military who are in line before 10pm are allowed in free even if they reach the door after 10pm. As long as they are in line before 10pm the doorman are trained to watch for who makes the deadline. The fact that it takes a while to get into the club is based on the number of people arriving all at once. ID's must be checked and each person is searched so no outside beverages are brought in. Not to mention VIP enrty, purchaces made with credit cards, ect. will slow the line down a bit. DV8 is always trying to make this process easier and make the line move faster. It has never been a policy to hold or delay the line in any way. It makes no sence to hold the line due to the fact that the nightclub makes the majority of it's money off of the bar. Most nightclubs in Tucson have a promoter who makes his or her money off the door chages. This is not the case with DV8 because all the promotions are done in house.
