I went through Casa Vista Properties about one year ago to rent a house. The day I was to move in, a toilet had flooded the house and I could no longer rent the house. I had all my belongings in a moving truck ready to go, and was paying by the hour for the truck, so I was freaking out. The people at Casa Vista Properties were a Godsend. They spent as much time as it took to find me a different house to move into immediately, even though they had no houses vacant for me. They spent their time finding me a house to rent from another real estate company. They even helped me with the extra cost of the moving company and utility deposits that were incurred. I think they are one of the best real estate companies in Tucson and I was treated with the utmost respect. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy or rent a home." --guest

Casita Vista Properties has no fiduciary responsibility to the tenant so can treat the tenant in any disrespectful and rude way. They can misrepresent themselves and the tenant believes they are acting in good faith. This market means more renters and more tenant abuse. Companies like this need to be accountable for unethical behavior. The only recourse is through a private attorney since the Realtor code of ethics only addresses realtor behavior towards their client, ie, the landlord. Tenants are out of luck. They need to form a tenant union as has been done in Victoria. " --guest
