Casita Vista Properties has no fiduciary responsibility to the tenant so can treat the tenant in any disrespectful and rude way.  They can misrepresent themselves and the tenant believes they are acting in good faith.  This market means more renters and more tenant abuse.  Companies like this need to be accountable for unethical behavior.  The only recourse is through a private attorney since the Realtor code of ethics only addresses realtor behavior towards their client, ie, the landlord.  Tenants are out of luck.  They need to form a tenant union as has been done in Victoria.  "
