2009-04-14 where's the science center?
It may be that downtown needs a convention center expansion but that's not what I voted for.  Mr Antentori seems to think he has the right to control the entire budget.  We should let the guys running the T-Rex museum have just a couple $M to build a science center -they could get the whole thing done for less than the city spent so far on planning.  Tucson has excellent history and art museums but we don't have a science center - this isn't fluff, its part of the educational infrastructure. --gv
