I've been to his shop twice and both times a moderate price (under $40) for difficult repairs was charged and they were a great save of expensive frames. The repairs lasted well and I liked his manner. It was a treat! --zergoot

I would not recommend this place.
I visited Mr. Kim to mend my frame. He gave me a quote and showed me a sample of his workmanship on a similar problem. I felt that the price was too high for that quality of work but decided to get it done anyway. I ended up commenting that his quote was bit pricey and left it at that. He got incensed and said that now I will have to pay a higher price for saying that. He got inside his shop and brought out another such repair job that had a higher price tag. He mentions further that I don't deserve to get the discount. I found this amusing. I asked what did the other guy do to merit a higher price tag? Maybe he has different prices depending upon his whims. Someone else might be getting half the price he quoted me. I walked out of the shop after that exchange.
