2009-07-22 Ministry Continues For Brother Don R. White, Pastor
Praise the Lord, Tucson Park Baptist Church, still helps the poor cast out homeless people in trouble. As of Mid July 2009, God has blessed us with a less active ministry. Our mailing address is still the same: 2750 N. Balboa Ave. #4106, Tucson, AZ 85705-4452, Phone: (520) 882-2964. When God allows a door to close He will open up a window, amen! I don't remember who said that, Corrie Ten Boom, I think. Some of my friends have said they thought I had graduated on to Heaven. Glory to God, the Lord has allowed us to continue our gift of charity and soulwinning from a sick-bed at home. We get visits all the time from homeless cast out people who find their way to our door. By God's grace we give folks the Gospel of Christ; prayer; and practical temporal charity that demonstrates John 3:16. Every gift of charity contains a Gospel track. We prefer the illustrated Jack Chick tracks as homeless people read them and pass them on. New Testament Baptist Church at Glenn and Craycroft continues to be our main supporter for prayers and ministry. Pastor Joiner has seen to it we have KJV Bibles available to give away. God is good! As the Lord provides we help folks who are in trouble. This year several women were helped by, Park Baptist Church ministry, who were in Domestic Abuse Women's shelters. The men in a half way house for offenders, drunks, and drug addicts have been blessed by the Park ministry. We have given out many food gifts, bus fares, clothes, and helps with rent. Our income for ministry lately has fallen to $570 dollars a month. We send $100 dollars (my tithe) to Mike Burrows' Jail Ministry in Sturgis, MI. Glory to God in the Highest! Right now we are in debt about $550 dollars for helping a Preacher friend pay July rent who had lost his job. He has two sons and is a single pappy. Jesus gave us liberty to borrow to help others. "Friend lend me three loaves!" We do not have much but homeless people never ask for much. But for the grace of God there goes you, I, or our loved ones, amen! Pray for me that the Lord will restore me to more active ministry. I miss preaching to the multitudes in public Parks. May God give us wisdom and the repentance we all need to the acknowledging of the truth of God's preserved Word so we may recover ourselves from any snare of the Devil, in Jesus Name, amen! Evangelist Don R. White, Pastor, Psalm 41 & 126, KJV, End of Message. --guest
