Sparkle Car Wash, avoid!520-548-7388If considering Sparkle Car Wash, you would do better to throw your quarters into a wishing well, at least they will have a chance to get clean. Located at the corner of Wilmont & Golf Links, it appeared to be in reasonable condition. It isn't. Feeding the required $1.50 to the first stall resulted in no time, no water. Adding 2 more quaters didn't change this. Feeding $1.50 to another stall got 4:00 minutes of time so I added 2 more quaters for an additional 1:20. I initially could get no water or soap. Since the selector knob was broken I tried other positions just in case, the only position that functioned was rinse. So for $4 I got the dirt on my car wet. I probably would have just asked for a refund and not bothered to write. However the owner clearly does not want to be contacted for refunds (small wonder), no address, no phone numbers are posted anywhere I could find. Nor does a search on the internet find any contact information. I suggest avoiding Sparkle, you can park in the rain for free. |
