Relates to: Simoniz Car WashRipped off and blown offI went to this car wash on Speedway near Wilmot on Thursday to get my car washed and waxed. paid $40, and was assured I would receive the "best wash, including dusting the interior, vacuuming, and car rims". My car was barely waxed, no buffing, with splotchy wax areas on the finish. The interior was NOT dusted and the back windows had not been cleaned on the inside. The floor of the back seat also was not cleaned. Since I was working the next two days, I went back to the carwash on Sunday to talk to the manager, Tony, and was told that because it was more than 48 hours after the car had been washed, I would have to pay for it to be washed, vacuumed, and dusted. Not only was I ripped off the $40 I paid to get my car waxed, but I was blown off by the manager who simply walked away when I said I wasn't willing to pay again for work that wasn't done the first time.
