Veteran refused a car wash

The Arizona Daily Star reported on Nov. 9 that veterans could get a free wash at local Simoniz locations on Sunday, Nov 11.
We went to the 3101 E. Speedway location and the "welcome" employee (a kid) looked at us like we were trying to rob Fort Knox (the cheap-o washes are $3.99)! Kid demanded to see a coupon.
Went back with the newspaper in hand and got treated like crap. Wrote via e-mail to all the honchos listed on line. Some mid-level manager wrote and offered to send a free "service" (god knows what THAT means) and 6 days later, still nothing.
The disabled veteran was completely Disrepected by this outfit.
Told the newspaper they musta gotten bum info. No response. No checking. Go figure.

I am a Disabled American Veteran I left the military (honorable Discharge) here is my problem with this most of the veteran 53 or younger joined signed up or volunteered for military service. I d not believe that i am owed anything from the car wash thus even with a artificial limb i wash my own vehicle, and if you feel that vets are mistreated open a car wash and cater to vets don't wine that you did not get something for free, freedom is not free the wash is in business to make money to pay its employees and help service the community its not a charity.  it is a business.
