If you like hidden fees and being terrified by the dental hygienist then Gentle Dental on Cortaro is for you!! We have had horrible experiences there...When you have their hygienist clean your teeth you feel like you are in the scene of little shop of horrors. In addition they tell you that your insurance covers something then quote you a price...After you have the service they send you a large bill in the mail. In addition when you call to find out what you are being billed for....it is a mystery..The staff has no idea...So if you want to be tortured and ripped off go to Gentle Dental on Cortaro. --guest

I took my boys there for the first time, and while the boys were getting their x-rays taken, I was informed there was a problem verifying my insurance. I called my insurance from the office and they agreed to fax verification, but the manager 'Alma' wouldn't have it. She refused to accept the fax and said it was too late, that I should know how this works(yeah like I'm a dental billing person). She wouldn't do anything to try to help me, so I had to go pull my boys off the dentist's chair and leave. It was my younger son's first time at the dentist and me being pregnant, I was very emotional. This lady was a witch and had absolutely no sympathy. My insurance says it's covered but she is refusing to take their payment. Now I owe $80 dollars for x-rays that weren't even used. I'll never go back to this place and I recommend that no one else go there as long as she is the manager. The receptionists were nice but should have waited 'til they had verification to take my boys in." --guest

My experience with gentle dental on Broadway was extremely poor. I wanted a simple cleaning and exam, and told exactly that to each of the receptionists, assitants and the dentist I spoke to, but they still pushed cosmetic dentistry, explaining that my teeth would be improved greatly by veneers. They also refused to give me the costs of basic cleanings, but insisted that I needed a cleaning that would cost $1000, that's at least $900 more than I am paying now at a different office. What a terrible experience." --guest
