I had two root canals done with Dr. Silver. He did a great job. It was quick, but I appreciated that. The less time I'm under the drill with junk in my mouth the better. I had no pain, and he had no trouble giving me more anesthetic when I asked for it. I have a big problem with gagging and x-rays are a problem for me. His assistant was very nice to me and patient. 2008-01-11 Not Recommended
I believe that it is necessary for others to be aware that this dentist (Dr. Gary Silver of Valley Endodontic) takes 10 minutes per root canal procedure. Root canals typically take at least 30 minutes to complete but from my experience and what I hear from others, Dr. Gary Silver rushes through them and there is too much pain involved. He doesn't even wait long enough for the anesthetic to take full effect- I asked for another dose but he refused. I felt like I was in an assembly line (rushed and uncomfortable) and was not treated kindly by him or his staff. " --guest
