Comments and Notes:
2009-07-18 I am trying to take the high road
and theorize that 'it is about the economy". I was just charged $100.00 an hour for work to prevent rain water from coming in under my front and back doors during rainstorms. As chance would have it our first storm came that very night (Thursday July 16th) and water came in under the back door even worse than before the work. That the work was a failure was not my greatest concern. That was "How on earth could this reputable business charge $100.00 per hour" for plain carpentry work? I have experienced two other recent similarly audacious interactions with Tucson businesses and therefore had to look at myself. Was there something that I was doing that brought these things upon me? Me, whose credit rating is 99% better and 90% better than other Americans. No it is not about me. I think businesses are struggling to keep 'above water'. Dear Tucson businesses, this is not the way to do it. --guest
