2008-02-19 Driver Courtesy
I have used American Pony Express to transport my elderly mother to a doctors appointment that I was unable to take her to.  The person that answered the phone was polite and courteous throughout my call.  The driver that transported my mother was on time, courteous and professional. My mother was transported to her appointment on time.  The driver escorted my mother into the doctor's facility and gave the receptionist a business card with the phone number on it to be called when my mother's appointment was completed (to return her home).  This company and the driver showed that they cared about getting my mother to her appointment and home.  I feel that there are some bad apples in a business, but unless the complaint or information is passed onto management, you can't expect changes to occurr.  I feel that all business managers and owners should be afforded the opportunity to know there is a problem that exists and the time to correct the problem. 2007-10-28 Driver Behavior while At Work
I live in the foothills and have a neighbor who either is a friend or former girlfriend of a male ambulatory van driver. My proiblem is that he comes by durng work hours in his van or nice company carand harass her or start fights. It is very disturbung to other neighbors as well because she is always upset and he doesn't see to care what he does during or who sees him. He never has. He used to drive a cab and that was worse - he just didn;'t care who saw or heard him yelling and her crying.That went on for years. We don't know what to do since it seems like she does not know what to do.She is a nice girl we think. I hope he is better with patients. " --guest

2007-10-01 Dispatcher/Driver Professionalism
I agree - the dispatchers (or receptionists) are very rude, and it seems not to matter who answers the phone. On 3 occasions in one week, I attempted politely, and after apologizing for having to call APE, to have an extremely urgent message of a financial matter relayed to a new driver. The first girl was only very short with me, but never relayed the message. If she had, the 2nd/3rd calls could have been avoided. On my 2nd try, another girl was short but took the msg. Hours later, on my final try, the same girl became personal about the driver, argumentative, and demanded details. After hanging up, she  then rang back my number (APE on caller ID) with a "threatening" message, making it very clear she had an ongoing personal situation with this driver. Very childish display on the part of this dispatcher and the driver, and extremely unprofessional under any circumstances. As a business owner, this is the very reason I check references." --guest

2007-06-22 Bad cusomer experince
The receptionist that answered the phone is very rude at American Pony Express.  When I called to talk to an employee about to schedule a closing, she hung on up me. She is very short with customers on the phone and has a bad attitude.  This is very bad customer service for American Pony Express.  I can say that I will never do business with American Pony Express, and I will spread the word about this company as well" --guest
