2009-10-26 waiting forever
I really wish I could understand why the wait is so long.  I wish that someone would entertain that question for me.  One hour and fortyfive mins all together. I am 46 and I have had a lot of doctors for my children in the past and they have always been informative and caring yet I have never waited this long! --guest

2009-07-21 Wait vs. Care
I have 2 children that under the care of one of the Dr's at Cholla Peds.  Yes, I agree too that the wait is long, but the Dr. is so thorough that I never felt like my children weren't cared for...I would rather have a physician that answers every question and concern than to go to an "in-n-out" practice.  He ALWAYS asks how I am doing and addresses my issues too.  Also, anytime I call and want an appt. that day, they always get me in.  If it's with another Dr., that's ok with me - they are going to see me.  It's worth it - just be "patient"!!! --guest

2009-03-16 Yep. long wait.
I also take my children to Cholla Pediatrics, and while I absolutely love our pediatrician, I have to agree that the time you spend waiting is ridiculous.  I have experienced a wait in the waiting room for at least 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, only to be taken back into their tiny exam room to wait another 45 minutes.  It's very frustrating." --guest

2008-12-30 Wait times are ridiculous!
I have been going to Cholla Pediatrics for 13 years now, first as a patient myself, and currently as the mother of three patients. I have repeatedly had to wait well over half an hour just to be called into a room where the wait times to be seen by the doctor are just as long, if not longer. Today, my daughter had an appointment for a follow-up to an ER visit from last week. We were not walk-in patients, we had an appointment. Nonetheless, I sat in the lobby for an hour with my three children. As we waited to be called back to a room, countless people were arriving, being attended to, and leaving before we were ever called! This is the poorest business practice I have ever experienced, and for a service that should have been considered quite important given the circumstances! The worst part of all is that we were offered no apologies or explanations for the ridiculous delay. It's apparent to me that the staff has overbooked appointments with no regard for its loyal patients. We will not be returning to Cholla Pediatrics, which is a shame because of the long-standing relationship we have developed with our doctor over the many years. They have become too large and far too busy to maintain the caring, respectable reputation that they once deemed so important. Do not be suprised if you are expected to wait over an hour to be seen at this place. This is completely unacceptable, Cholla Pediatrics!!!" --guest
