2008-04-20 did not honor their own gift certificate
Friends had given us a very expensive gift certificate, unfortunately the gift certificate expires not in one year but at the end of every year.  They would not honor it, not even partially, and we spoke with the owner.  I wonder how much they make off of gift certificates never redeemed.  We'll never know, and we would not recommend a company that is in it only for the money.  They did not seem to value a customers opinion or realize how much word of mouth can go." --guest

2008-02-15 Take your Italian appetite elsewhere
Our first and only visit to Verona was a severe disappointment considering the reviews we've received from friends, but that's only the beginning. We had reservations and were not surprised that the facility was packed to the rafters with patrons based on recommendations, but we were not seated for nearly 20 minutes and forced to stand in a very small entrance with a half dozen other people. After seating it was noticed that the tablecloth was dirty and the place settings were incomplete. The feeling of being rushed starts now. Everything is done at high speed and the assembly line mentality carries over to the whole experience.

That aside, I was hopeful about the cuisine. Sadly, it was false hope. As a lifetime Italian food aficionado, I've rarely had a worse meal in Tucson or elsewhere. Lasagna and cannelloni were both mealy, sweet, and thin. I hardly finished half and at $20 a plate that's a stretch. Waitstaff were curt, drinks were adequate, prices were astronomical for the area of town and production quality. It was the first and last time we'll visit. I strongly suggest you take your Italian appetite elsewhere." --guest

2007-12-22 Best Northern Italian Restaurant in Tucson http://www.veronaitalianrestauranttucson.com/

One of the best places for Northern Italian cuisine. It's famous for its chicken dishes, the most famous being the Pollo Bolla, a generous portion of slightly breaded chicken served with prosciutto ham and parmegiano potatoes. All dishes are homemade, the pastas as well as the dolces and the Napoleon Cake on the dessert menu. The interior is simple yet elegant the Italian way; on balmy desert nights, you can dine on the gorgeous patio complete with fountains and lights. The wine list is extensive with around 60 selections. And to top it off there is wonderful live romantic music Thursday through Sunday.
