2011-12-30 : Cool summer fun - the Tucson Children's Museum is not only open during construction this summer, several inside areas have already been upgraded: The Wee World for 4's and under has a jungle look with Mayan pyramid and highly original flying frogs (you have to try them to appreciate). The new fitness area features a dance-computer thing and climbing wall, right across from the  doctor's office with a real microscope. Finally a kitchen area has been added to the ever-popular grocery shop.

Some changes are tiny but cool - look for a simple but neat 'maglev' train right by the pushbutton train exhibit.
