2008-07-30 Best place to fix your car...period...why do you think they call it Perfection..?
Hello...
I just wanted everyone to know that I own two late model Audi's and have taken both of these cars to Perfection Auto Works for over 8 years.
My wife and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this repair shop.
We have enjoyed the QUALITY, the PRICE, and the SERVICE. I used to go to the dealer here in Tucson, but they were too costly, and did not offer the one on one COMMUNICATION that Mike Emery gives to his auto repair shop.
If you really want a FAIR, HONEST, and QUALITY repair shop, I HIGHLY recommend Perfection Auto Works.
I also recommend their FREE 26 point inspection... it will let you know how the car looks, and if its ready for a road trip. We had dropped the car of at Perfection for a check over after an oil change at the local dealer and we could not believe that the car was NOT ready for the trip to San Diego. The brake pads were ALMOST down to metal... and there was a coolant leak !!!!! If the water pump would have let loose on the freeway, we may have burned up the engine!!!!
Since then, we go NO WHERE ELSE.
Take my advice, its Perfection all the way, or we don't hit the highway !!!
Thanks

2008-07-21 I LOVE THEM
Hi....as a many time returning Saab, Porsche and Mercedes owner.....
I LOVE THEM !!!
I have taken my Saab, Porsche and my Mercedes to Perfection Auto Works for years and have never had any problems.... Its too bad that some folks need to lick there wounds and talk bad about a shop that cares about quality and the car fixed with happiness.
Because he (the Saab owner Doug Kipper ) can't be patient (as I found out.... the shop owner was on vacation...) I happened to hear at the shop when Doug Kipper with a Saab was on the phone for an oil leak that may or may not have been under warranty.. He was insistant
about renal car, free towing ya da ya da....
I think the customer that demands more than he deserves needs to retire from a program that gives more than he is worth............
Thanks

2008-06-16 Don't Use Them (see below)
After waiting two weeks for an appointment, I recently brought my 2002, Saab 93 in to replace a temperature sensor. When I called them late in the afternoon the same day, they hadn’t started on it. I indicated that I needed it the same day, as it was my primary means of transportation. When I arrived, I discovered that they also replaced the oil pressure sending unit. The total was $460.00.
Within a few days after this, the problem with the temperature sensor reappeared. I decided to wait on having this looked at because it wasn't causing me any serious problems. Unfortunately, a month later, I began to get an oil leak. At first it wasn't too bad, but within a few days it became significant, so I called Perfection to get it in for repair. I was told that the first appointment would be three (3) weeks away. In addition, they felt that their work was done properly and that it must be a new issue. Since I believed otherwise, I decided to have the vehicle towed to their shop. They said that the only way they could look at it earlier would be if they got a cancellation. I gave them an entire week, but finally called to let them know I was going to have it towed over to the Saab dealer. I asked them to prepare the bill for the original tow, as I would be in right after work. When I arrived, low and behold, the car was up on the lift being worked on. Wonder of wonders, they discovered that the oil pressure sending unit was loose and leaking. They gave the excuse that it was in a hard-to-get-to area. So they just had to tighten it. No charge, since it was warranty work. However, they still charged me for the towing ($47), and I had a rental car charge ($150) for the week. It’s been several weeks, and I still have no offer to cover these items. Fortunately, the oil leak has not reappeared, so I won’t have to go back. I certainly won’t have them look at the temperature sensor issue, which is still failing.
