Alice we miss you
http://www.azstarnet.com/allheadlines/280333
Alice Papcun was just an amazing person, a warm , wonderful unique woman who even when she was in pain near the end of her life could always find a kind word for a child and would always still make the effort to consider carefully and respond to anything a friend said.  Simply, absolutely honest and direct, she worked hard all her life to stand up for what she believed - to help defend others rights.

I couldn't believe the petty nasty comments on the starnet site.  Those people didn't even know Alice!  How dare they use Alice's passing as their platform to make snide remarks and overgeneralizations.

Dear god, I miss her.  I know these last years were difficult and she told me she was ready to go, but selfishly, I wish she didn't have to go yet.  Peace be with you Alice."

FYI, I think everyone should be aware that this Real Estate company is the most unprofessional company in Tuscon.  They do not deal in good faith nor do the respect customers who have a complaint.  They directly belittle and laugh at the customer.  Most of them belong to the same family so they all behave in the same rude way.  Do not use them for your real estate business.  In this current market, customers should demand the best professional and most courteous agents.

Community Food Bank Needs Help
http://www.communityfoodbank.org
Dear Everyone,

Yesterday, at the monthly staff meeting, I learned that the Food Bank
is gearing up to fill and distribute 50,000 food boxes during the
upcoming holidays for families in need in Southern Arizona! At the same
time, we have been way over budget for food purchasing every month since
our fiscal year began July 1st.

So.... consider this an urgent request to see whether you, and any
group or congregation you are a part of, would consider organizing a
short-term food drive over the next couple of months.  It's very easy to
do (check the website www.communityfoodbank.org, and check on "donate
food" for easy instructions).  We can provide you with collection boxes
and posters, and if you collect too much to bring in yourself, we would
be happy to arrange for a pick up ...read more...
