A drunken spider couldn't have woven a more tangled web than the comically entwined characters of "Clue", the murder mystery board game converted into community theatre right here in Tucson.  From the first moment the 'why's start to build up, with comedic moments and killings nicely interspersed throughout.    This is a play where no one is innocent, but only one guilty character is also the murderer.

We found it to be first-rate family entertainment, keeping kids from 5 to 12 glued to the set along with the adults.  During the two intermissions the audience is given the opportunity to guess the murderer and be placed in a drawing for free tickets to the next production, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.  Most of us were distracted by red herrings and could only guess, bu ...read more...

Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance and Park Place present the inaugural Chalk Art Festival with chance for artists and public to participate, April 14 & 15 2012

A unique "canvas" has opened in Tucson to offer established and emerging artists, students, kids and all ages of the public a place to create a collage of colorful artwork.  

Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance (SAACA) and Park Place have partnered to present the community's inaugural Chalk Art Festival on Saturday, April 14 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A true community collaboration of the arts, SAACA and Park Place are seeking involvement from artists and attendees to help in the completion of murals during the event - free to attend and participate.
