Notes about Tucson Youth Week - Youth Voice Art & Media Showcase

This energetic and highly visual event will display creative expressions of young people who are contributing to the community dialogue about the issues that affect them through various forms of media and art.  Participants from several different projects will gather to create a powerful display of youth voice, and to share ideas and explore opportunities to grow and develop through collaboration.  Youth docents and staff will guide and assist guests and dignitaries throughout this elegant event.
Art & Media Showcase Highlights:
• Elegant downtown setting with food and drink provided
• Visual Art “Gallery” of photos and other displays created by local youth
• Live performances by local youth theater
• Documentary film screening facilitated by local young filmmakers
