Red Barn Theatre events and clubsMarch is a busy month for theatre lovers. At the Red Barn, Steel Magnolias is playing Friday nights and Sunday matinees - call 622-6973 for info.Rosemary, the energetic directro of the Red Barn, is also starting up a clean Comedy Club to meet each fourth Saturday at 5PM. Free and refreshments provided. Jokes, dialog jokes, novelty songs & skits. Members will prepare for performances but only clean jokes allowed! This is a good practice for comics because to go higher (TV, etc) you need a clean routine. The children's drama group is performing Mary Poppins at 3PM every Saturday in March - and starting in April will be auditioning for the spring revue. Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for kids, and participation in the group is free! Except that Rosemary is a strict taskmaster and takes the performances quite seriously - this is real theatre! Sat Mar 28 is the Spring Celebration, 2PM Songs of Spring by Rosemary and Chris on trombone, fiddle, voice, piano and Hula. 3PM is Mary Poppins, 4PM is the string orchestra, and 5PM is a party.
