Notes about Sonoran Desert Kids Club

Free guided nature activities on Saturday evenings.  Check out the brochure - these are neat family outings with something for all ages.  We've been to the bat one, where a bat biologist from the UA showed us her custom 'bat detector' - I kid you not - that automatically identifies bats from their call.  We also took a short walk to a water hole filled with Red Spotted Toads!  On the Moon event, the little kids enjoy the cutting and pasting and the model moon, while the older ones get to look thru a decent size telescope at moon features.  We're looking forward to the next event!"
