2009-10-13 No Prop 200 htCommunity Services, Employment and Training

Prop 200 is about protecting us from those who commit crimes:however, where is the money going to come from? I'll tell you the money will come from the programs that keep the kids off the streets, like Kid co, a low income funded program to prevent gangs and violance. they are also are not tell the public that our crime rate is down. So for them to pass prop 200, we are not only putting our children in the streets, we are putting them in jail. Prop 200 meant to protect us. By putting our children at risk of being the target. I don't know about anyone else but I'd rather have my kids in programs not prisons. vote NO prop 200" --guest

Prop 200 brought before us by police and firefighters. it is designed to put twice as many police officers on the street, but they are not the only ones who'll be on the streets they plan< if prop 200 passes> put many others out of work. and tale away from our children. The money has to come from somewhere and it will be taken away from Parks & Rec's and our kidco after school programs. like boys and girls clubs. Not to mention the stats state that the crime rate is down. So reall think about this, who are we protecting? are protecting the very same children that we will be taking away from? to pass prop 200 is to put our children in jail in stead of programs more benifical to our up coming baby boomer retirees. with the adults all old and all our kids is jail where will our country, state, and cities go? thats right to ..." --guest
