At least two Christmas tree lots here are seeing about as many tree sales as they did last year, but customers say they are reducing Christmas spending because of the floundering economy.

For some 3,600 area children Christmas will be a little bit  brighter, thanks to the Volunteer Center of Southern Arizona and its "A Visit From St. Nicholas" Program.
