A military memorabilia show and and sale is set for 5 to 8 p.m. Jan. 9 at Skyline Country Club.
Beginning Jan. 1, the Community Food Bank will only distribute one family food box per household per month. The agency said in a news release that it has seen a dramatic increase in demand this year and is 46 percent over budget for purchased food. It also has given out 36 percent more food through Nov. 30 than it had over the same period in 2007.
