Walk for Peace: Friday night at 6:30 in the west parking lot of Southgate Plaza at the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Interstate 10. A prayer service will follow at Santa Cruz Church on 22nd Street and Sixth Avenue.5
Santa Rita Renaissance Extravaganza: Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and 4-8 p.m., experience the food, games, prizes and fun of an Elizabethan township. Dear Awareness Day: Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Biosphere 2 Center, volunteer interpreters will be on hand for the hearing-impaired. Admission will be reduced on this day only: $5 for the deaf and hard of hearing, $8.95 for their adult guests, $5 for their guests ages 6-17, free for those 5 and under. General adult admission is $9.95. Biosphere 2 is 20 minutes north of Tucson off Highway 77 in Oracle, at milepost 96.5.

Holiday Antique, Art and Craft Fair: at Lew Sorensen Tanque Verde Center, 11100 E. Tanque Verde Road. Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Pima County Parks and Recreation is sponsoring an indoor antique fair and outdoor art and craft fair. Antique items for sale include furniture, books, bric-a-brac, jewelry, glassware and other collectibles.
